Dearest Cristina and all in Liviu's family, I was shocked to hear of Liviu's passing. He and I were both Kai Li's graduate students at Princeton during the same time. I will never forget Liviu's humor, curiosity, and willingness to always help. My most sincere condolences to all. May he rest in peace. He will be missed by many.
