“Hands that help are holier than lips that pray” – by Sathya Sai Baba
~~~~~
The Verma family is deeply saddened to share the passing of their dearest husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, Sushil on the sacred day of Ram Naumi, Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 53.
Sushil was the epitome of service, compassion, and humility. He embodied a spirit of positivity and breathed a life of servitude to each person whom he met and to the thousands he didn’t even know. His every thought focused on how he could make someone else’s life better. Through his selfless service, he shone the light and led the way for adults and children alike. But that’s not all…
Sushil smiled a lot and laughed even more. Known to share jokes, he always brightened those around him. He had a passion for music, a love for traveling, and a zest for cooking and relishing good food with family and friends, leaving behind precious memories. He will also be remembered fondly by his colleagues and friends at Crum and Forster, where he would have celebrated his 13th work anniversary on Wednesday, April 13th. He was known for his positive attitude and infectious laugh and will be missed by all.
Sushil has been compared by many to Lord Hanuman, the greatest devotee and servant of Lord Rama. It is only befitting that he left his body on the sacred day of Ram Naumi.
While we feel the void of his physical presence so sadly and deeply, he has been our inspiration, and we are truly honored to have known him. He will forever be loved and remembered as Sushil, the true humble servant of the Lord.
We pray to the Almighty for his departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give strength to his loved ones during these hard times.
Thank you, Sushil, for touching each of our lives, and as we remember you fondly, we will think of these words by your Guru, Sathya Sai Baba, “Love all and serve all. Your entire life will be sanctified thereby."
Please share what he meant to you or a memory of him for us to cherish for the rest of our lives.
