Obituary for Robert Joel Barasky
Robert “Robbie” J. Barasky, 51, of North Brunswick, NJ, passed away on Aug 1, 2020.
Robbie was born in New Brunswick, NJ on April 12, 1969. He grew up in Williamsport, PA and graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1988 where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball.
Robbie most recently worked as a machinist for TW Metals Inc. He was an avid sport fan. Although a man of few words sometimes, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew Robbie well knew he had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back.
Robbie is survived by his son Drew Barasky of Williamsport, PA and a grandson, Brayden Barasky. He is also survived by his father Joel Barasky of North Brunswick, NJ, sister Kimberly Barasky of Williamsport, PA, sister Jaime Carroll and her partner Brian of Williamsport, PA, brother Jason Barasky and his wife Maricris of North Brunswick, NJ, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Robbie is preceded in death by his mother Michele Surdovel; paternal grandparents, David and Evelyn Barasky; maternal grandparents, David and Angela Surdovel.
There will be no services at this time. Robbie will be laid to rest with his beloved mother at the convenience of the family.
