Obituary for Raminder K Sandhu
In Loving Memory of Raminder K. Sandhu, 86, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, We pray for her departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give strength to family members to bear the loss of their beloved Raminder.
Raminder K. Sandhu was a strong and independent woman. She was a big advocate of higher education and hard work. Raminder got her Bachelor’s degree at a time when most women were not encouraged to pursue higher education in India. After she completed her education, she decided to teach and was a principal at an elementary school in the town of Banga, India.
Upon immigrating to the United States, she went to night school to further her education while working during the day. She was a Librarian at Library of Science of Medicine at Rutgers University for 25 years and retired in 1999.
Raminder is survived by her son Maninder S. Sandhu, daughter- in- law Ruby Sandhu and grandsons Chatrick S. Sandhu and Shawn S. Sandhu of Hillsborough, NJ.
