Obituary for Natvar Z Patel

Our Family is sad to announce the passing of our beloved Natvar Patel.
~~~~~~
Natvar Patel was born on June 9, 1945, to a family of farmers in Bardoli, Gujarat, India. A trailblazer, he attended the prestigious Vallabh Vidyanagar University. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the Government of India for 15 years. In an effort to provide his four children with better opportunities, he immigrated to the United States with his wife Vina and his children Rina, Manisha, Sonal, and Dhaval. After settling in New Jersey, Natvar advanced his career in Civil Engineering for the New Jersey Department of Transportation until his retirement.
However, he was more than a working professional. He had a large family in Bardoli that he cared for very much and made it a priority to visit them. Natvar’s passion for travel also took him around the world to places such as the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, Alaska, and Hawaii.
He lived a wonderful life and is survived by his wife, two brothers, one sister, four children, six grandchildren, and extended family. Natvar was a devotee of Gayatri Pariwar and transitioned his retirement life to a life of service at the Gayatri Chetna Center. This devotion helped him battle and cope with Parkinson’s disease in his final years.
He always prioritized everyone’s best interests above his own. We pray that his soul rests in eternal peace and thank him for enriching our lives.
