Melody Joie Fernandez-Thompson was born on Monday, January 24, 2022, at approximately 3:30 a.m. to her parents Nariah Fernandez and Patrick Thompson at St. Peter's University Hospital of New Jersey. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. Melody's family was blessed with six weeks before she went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at approximately 8 a.m.

Melody is survived by her loving sibling, Faith Rodriguez. Her maternal grandparents are Naomi Campell and Hector Fernandez. Melody was deeply loved by her mommy, sister, and family. Melody's life was brief to us that will live on in our hearts. Melody will always remain her parents' precious baby, Faith's younger sister, and they will hold her again in heaven one day.
