Obituary for Louise Deary

It is with heavy hearts that we, Jenell Daniels and Lamont Deary, share the passing of our beloved mother, Louise Marie Deary. Born on December 7, 1938, in Warrenton, NC, Louise, fondly known as Weezy, Lou, or Lou Lou by her loved ones, left us on April 15, 2024. She was a loving, generous, supportive, and dedicated woman who touched the lives of many during her 85 years on this Earth.

Louise spent her professional life caring for others as a Certified Nurses Assistant, a role she passionately fulfilled until her retirement in 1994. She was a pillar of strength in her community, beloved by her patients, and respected by her colleagues. In her spare time, Louise found joy in the simplest pleasures of life. She was the reigning macaroni-and-cheese queen and sweet potato pie champion of our family gatherings, a title she wore with pride and honor. She loved constructing puzzles, caring for her plants, playing Bingo and Solitaire, and dining at Olive Garden, a favorite restaurant.

In her later years, Louise found spiritual fulfillment when she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 9th, 2010. She devoted her time to encouraging others to learn about Jehovah God, communicating regularly through letters and phone calls. The verse from Romans 8:38, 39 " For I am convinced that neither death nor life...nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God's love." this scripture was particularly dear to her. She faithfully attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in East Brunswick New Jersey. Her love for Jehovah was as profound as her love for family and friends.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Jenell Daniels, and her husband, Gary Daniels, as well as her son, Lamont Deary, and his wife, Danielle Deary, and her sisters, Loretta Payne, Dorothy Gray, and Henrietta Mathis. Her loving spirit will also be missed by the grandchildren, Quadell Daniels, Bashira Daniels, Khaliyah Daniels, and Jailyn Deary; Two great-grandchildren Kavonni Daniels and Zahmir Daniels, and many nieces, and nephews she leaves behind. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Harris and Celia Matthews, her beloved husband, Welton Sr., her sister, Delores Pettway, and her brother, Jesse Townes.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Louise on Sunday, April 28th at 4:00 pm - 5:00pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 94 Claremont Rd in Franklin Park, NJ 08823. There will be a repass immediately after at the Cedar Hill Club complex 150 Hyde Park Road. Somerset, NJ 08873

We invite all who knew Louise to join us in celebrating her remarkable life. We encourage those who wish to remember her to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. May we find comfort in our shared recollections of this loving, generous, supportive, and dedicated woman, as we celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved Louise.
