Obituary for Laszlo Geraly
Laszlo Geraly, 80, of Monroe Twp., died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 26, 2022. Laszlo was born in Petreu, Romania. He received a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry from Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj, Romania. In 1976 he immigrated to the United States with his wife and young daughter. He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, NJ where he worked for over 30 years.
Laszlo loved to spend time with his family and friends especially his grandson. He was a devout Roman Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church in New Brunswick, NJ and St. Bartholomew Church in East Brunswick, NJ. His Hungarian heritage was very important to him and he was a member of the Hungarian American Athletic Club in New Brunswick, NJ for many years. He loved to travel with his wife, play tennis, soccer, dance and read about history.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Geraly of 51 years of Monroe Twp., NJ, daughter Eryka Geraly-Wegeler, son-in-law James Wegeler, grandson Colin Wegeler of Flemington, NJ and cousins, nieces and nephews in Romania and Hungary.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Funeral Director, Christine Cuoco of Ruby Memorial.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ladislaus R.C. Church, 40 Plum Street in New Brunswick, NJ 08901. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in North Brunswick, NJ.
Visitation will take place on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home, 152 North Main Street in Milltown, NJ. 08850.
