It is with great sadness The Soni Family announces the passing of their beloved, Jugesh Soni.

Nov 14, 1952 – March 6, 2023
Jugesh Soni, a longtime friend of the community often known for his effervescent smile and passionate volunteer work, passed away on Monday March 6, 2023 in New Jersey after a prolonged illness.
A lifelong resident of Franklin Township, NJ, Mr Soni was raised in a musically-inclined family in New Delhi. His father, Surinder Soni, was the music director of All India Radio.
A commerce graduate of the University of Delhi, Mr Soni kept his love for music alive even after moving to the US, with his deep involvement in promoting several leading musical luminaries of India, such as Shri Narinder Chanchal, Hansraj Hans, Jaswant Singh, and many others, throughout North America. After his stint as an events manager for several years, Mr Soni was also an accomplished photographer and videographer that kept him connected with the community.
His friends remember him as an epitome of simplicity, who would willingly jump at the opportunity to lend a helping hand in any capacity. He was magnanimous in everything he did and touched the hearts of the people that he worked with or knew with his larger-than-life personality.
Mr Soni was the Founder-Member of Indian American Community of North America (IACONA) and a member of Sight Saving Academy of India (SSAI).
He is survived by his wife Mohini, son Pradeep and daughter Swati Anand.
We pray to God for his departed atma to rest in eternal peace and give strength to the family members to bear the loss of their beloved Jugesh.
