The Bhatia Family is sad to announce the passing of their beloved, Dilipsinh Bhatia.

Dilip Bhatia, 85, of West Orange, NJ, peacefully passed away on September 14, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Parkinson's.

Dilip was born on October 28, 1936 in Bombay, India, and was one of 8 siblings. Dilip came to America to pursue higher education, ultimately earning a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. After graduation, he worked in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals for over 40 years. In 1965, he went home to India and was introduced to Malti. In just 5 days, they were married. Dilip and Malti went on to have three daughters, Deepa, Maneesha and Nehal. After retirement, Dilip moved back from California to New Jersey to be closer to his beloved family. Dilip was kind, generous and selfless, and he will be forever remembered for his optimistic spirit and love of music and singing. He was instrumental in changing the trajectory of so many lives and was the glue that brought the entire extended family together.

Dilip was predeceased by his daughters, Maneesha Malin and Nehal Bhatia. He is survived by his beloved wife for 57 years, Malti, his daughter Deepa Desai and son-in-law Nick Desai, and his grandchildren, Arman Desai, Rohan Desai and Deven Malin.

Services will be held at Rosedale Cemetery & Crematory, 408 Orange Rd, Montclair, NJ 07042 on Sunday, September 18th, ​2022 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (US Eastern Standard Time). The funeral will also be LIVE STREAMED on YouTube Live Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClW0vSTFex88Ib3X-NauqbQ
